This Longhorn saddle has minimal ride wear if any and has been stored for the past 20 years in an elderly women’s home, where we picked it up out of Lexington, Kentucky. She use to ride with her husband but he passed away a little over 15 years ago. Since then she unfortunately stopped riding. Longhorn is medium oil in color with a Cheyenne roll cantle. Saddle has beautiful ½ breed floral and leaf tooling along with rich leather jockey skirts and fenders. Longhorn sports six antique silver roped conchos, three on each side, along with a silver horn cap with the Longhorn Logo. Saddle is stamped Longhorn on the keeper along with the number 1011. | Ella is a beautiful 15.1 hh 7yr old registered quarter horse mare, by Arabis Cruising Pine, who benefited from being owned by a natural horsemanship trainer and attained a very high standard of training. She would be great for someone who is either experienced or wants to advance in Natural Horsemanship. Several videos are available on youtube under the heading “Shady Horsemanship” where she can be seen ridden bridleless and performing many training manoeuvres. Unfortunately, due to my recurring back problem I have turned her into a walk/trot arena only riding horse. She is a horse who has gotten used to and needs the regular stimulus of consistent training and I can no longer give this to her. She is good in all ways, great to catch,often running to meet you at the gate, but does have an issue with the farrier which is improving with time. She is a forward going ride who forms a strong bond with her owner and is bold and brave when out hacking. She can be ridden western or english. She has good feet and excellent stable manners.
